Putnam City Schools is proud to announce the District's 2022-2023 Teacher of the Year. Patrick Runnells, a teacher at Putnam City North High School, received the award at the District's annual banquet on February 27th. The Teacher of the Year process begins at each of our 27 Putnam City schools with the selection of a site Teacher of the Year. From that group, a panel names the Top 5 Excellent Educators who are the finalists for District Teacher of the Year. Mr. Runnels will represent Putnam City in the Oklahoma Teacher of the Year competition next year.
